I want to change my profile details

Open the Beep menu on the left side with the top button. In the "Payment data" category you can:

  • Add, remove or change payment methods
  • Add, remove or change invoice addresses

In your "Account area" you can also customize the following personal data:

  • Name
  • Privacy settings such as analytics data or personalised marketing (email, text message, push notification, ads such as social media)
  • Accessibility settings such as impaired vision, more time for walking, etc.
  • Activation of the hvv partnership

If you want to add a different mobile number to your profile, please contact our customer service team.

How do I delete my account?

We regret that you want to delete your account. Even if we would like to keep you as a customer, we will of course comply with your request.

Option 1 — Via the app:

  1. Open the Beep App and select the menu at the top left.
  2. Go into "Your profile".
  3. Inside "Your profile", scroll down to the "Settings" section and select "Account & Privacy".
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select "Delete account".
  5. This will trigger a confirmation dialog.

Option 2 — Via email:

  • Send a message from your registered email address to: datarequest@beep.io
  • Subject: Deletion of my personal data

Together with your account, all associated data we store will be deleted. Once this is done, you will no longer be able to use the Beep service. Please note that this action cannot be undone.

I suspect that my Beep account has been hacked

If someone has accessed your Beep account without authorization, the security of your account may be at risk.

Typical signs of a hacked account include:

  • You can see unexpected completed journeys that you have not made.
  • You have trouble signing in to your account.
  • Account details have been changed without your knowledge.
  • You can see unexpected charges from your stored payment method.

Even if only one of the above points applies, or if you are unsure, please fill in the contact form and send it to us. We will get back in touch as soon as we can.

How do I find out about discounts?

If you select your profile in the app and click on your username, you will find in the privacy settings the item "Personalized Marketing".

If you allow personalized marketing, you will receive information about promotions, offers and products. Depending on which information channels you activate, you will also be included in voucher promotions and discounts, and can take advantage of many benefits on top of regular Beep use.

Push notifications will keep you up to date and make sure you don't miss anything.

You can change these settings in your Beep account. Just click on "Privacy settings". Here you can change your personalized marketing settings.

You may opt out of the displayed options or opt in for a few. Just swipe the button to the right to give your consent, or swipe to the left to opt out.

How do I receive invoices and receipts?

After your trip has ended you will receive the invoice as a PDF file sent to your email address. Tip receipts will be sent to you separately via email. Please check your spam folder if you cannot find your invoice or tipping receipt right away.

You also have the possibility to subsequently receive invoices for other completed trips. To do this, tap on the menu item "Your journeys" in your profile in the app and select which invoices you would like to receive.

On the invoices you will also find an invoice number. Please mention this number when contacting customer service about a specific trip.
