How do I download the Beep app?
Open the App Store or Google Play Store on your device and download the Beep App for iOS or Android (please be aware of our operating system requirements).

Which operating system is needed?
To book rides via our app with an iPhone, you need at least iOS 16.6. Alternatively, on Android you need a minimum of Android 9.0 (Pie).
Our app is constantly developing. New features, security settings, etc. increase the technical requirements, and the administration of older versions is unfortunately no longer possible after a certain time.
Please make sure that you always have the latest operating system and the current version of the Beep app on your smartphone so that your service experience is not limited.
Friend bonus
General conditions of the Friend bonus
The Friend bonus program allows you to invite friends, family, or acquaintances to join our ride-pooling service using your unique friend code.
For you both to get rewards, the person you invite must:
- Create a new account in the Beep app.
- Enter the friend code within 7 days before their first ride.
- Take their first ride within 90 days.
After their first ride, you and your friend will each receive a discount voucher.
Invite your friends to Beep
You can find your unique friend code in your Beep profile under "Friend bonus". Share it via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or any other channel.
Got invited by a friend?
If you have received a friend code, enter it in the Beep app within 7 days before taking your first ride.
Get your reward
After your first ride, both you and the person who invited you will receive your discount vouchers automatically.
Log in to the Beep app
General information
You always need to log in to the Beep app if you want to register for the first time (new customer) or if you have been logged out of the app (existing customer).
As long as you do not log out or use another device, you remain logged in. As an advantage, you can directly book a Beep as soon as you open the app.
To make it easy for you to use Beep, you do not need to use a password. Instead, we use a one-time SMS verification code.
How does the registration process work for new customers?
- Enter your mobile phone number.
- You will receive a verification code via SMS‚ enter it in the app.
- Enter your email address.
- Enter your first and last name.
Log in as an existing customer
If you are logging in on a new device, you will receive a notification and will need to verify via SMS code.
Changing my mobile number and email address
If you want to link a new mobile number to your existing account, you will be asked to verify your new number via SMS. You can update your email address in your profile settings.
I am not able to sign in to the Beep app

Check whether a VPN is active
The verification code can only be sent via SMS if the VPN server is deactivated. Once you have successfully logged in, you can reactivate the VPN function and use the Beep app as usual.
Check your internet connection
A stable internet connection is essential for signing into the app. Ensure that you have a reliable internet connection.
Check that you are using the correct phone number
Make sure you are entering the correct mobile number associated with your account, including the country code.
Update the app
Always make sure you have the latest version of the Beep app installed.
Restart the app or your device
Sometimes a simple restart resolves login issues.

Language settings of the Beep app
The language of the Beep app is based on the language settings of your smartphone. The app is currently available in German and English. To change the language of the app, simply change the language of your smartphone.
How to change the language on iOS:
- Open "Settings" on your device.
- Tap on "General".
- Tap on "Language & Region".
- Tap on "[Device] Language".
- Choose your preferred language.
How to change the language on Android:
- Open "Settings" on your device.
- Tap on "System" (on Samsung devices, this may be named differently).
- Tap on "Languages and input".
- Select your preferred language.
How to use the Beep app in dark mode
We offer our app in an eye-friendly dark mode. Colors are inverted and text is shown with white text on a black background. The app automatically adapts to the dark mode depending on your device settings. Please make sure you are using the latest version of the Beep app to use this feature.
For iOS devices:
- Tap "Settings".
- Select the "Display & Brightness" section and make individual settings as needed.
- We recommend using automatic display settings that adjust based on the time of day.
For Android devices:
ATTENTION: On Android, Dark Mode is only available for devices supporting Android 10 and higher.
- Tap on "Settings".
- Switch to the "Display" menu.
- Activate or deactivate dark mode.
