Beep’s Big Move: Driving the Future of Mobility in Georgia

IMG 3520 2

Why it matters: The Federal Transit Administration just awarded $6.6M to launch the Cumberland Autonomous Mobility (CAM) Network, making it the first autonomous vehicle project in the U.S. to receive a Low-No Emission grant, and the first autonomous transit system to be deployed in the State of Georgia. Beep is proud to be the technology and operations partner powering this milestone.

The big picture:

  • The CAM Network will deploy eight ADA-accessible autonomous shuttles integrated with CobbLinc, creating a connected transit system in Metro Atlanta’s Cumberland district.
  • Launching in 2027, this network will link major destinations like Truist Park, The Battery Atlanta, Cobb Convention Center, and the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.
  • It’s part of the Cumberland Sweep, a multimodal vision to reduce congestion and improve first- and last-mile access.

Beep’s role:
We bring proven expertise in deployed shared autonomous vehicle networks, backed by our AutonomOS™ platform, which ensures:

  • Human-in-the-loop safety oversight
  • Real-time fleet orchestration for efficiency
  • Rapid response capabilities for passenger safety
