Sustainability Partners and the Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (HDOT) partner to operate first-of-its-kind, 18-month autonomous shuttle pilot at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu.
Landscaped with the beautiful trees and flowers of the Hawaiian Islands, Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) plays host to more than 21 million passengers (enplaned/deplaned) each year. The airport is served by international and domestic carriers, interisland airlines, and commuter airlines.
Sustainability Partners (SP) mission is to hoʻololi (transform) critical infrastructure into an efficient, reliable, and sustainable service. Through innovative investments in infrastructure, they have helped accelerate Hawaiʻi’s journey toward a resilient and equitable future.

This first-of-its-kind initiative features four autonomous, electric shuttles designed to extend and augment the airport transport experience. The pilot program aims to provide efficient, safe, and sustainable mobility solutions for passengers, showcasing the future of airport transportation.
